Oil futures ended decrease Monday because the collapse of Silicon Valley Financial institution over the weekend stirred fears of a possible recession.

SVB collapsed on Friday, whereas New York regulators closed down Signature Financial institution on Sunday. Federal regulators moved Sunday to make depositors on the banks complete, whereas backstopping deposits at different regional banks in an effort to stop a run on different establishments.
